Jake Noonan is a homeland security and emergency management specialist. He has worked in the private sector and at several governmental and non-governmental agencies where his portfolio spanned open source intelligence, security and threat analysis, policy, and planning. He has consulted commercial clients on managing risk and disaster management, specifically through the implementation of technology for emergency application in high-risk regions, both domestically and abroad. Jake is currently an emergency operations manager at the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey where he focuses on integrating new technologies for disaster response within the Office of Emergency Management. He also serves as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Navy Reserve. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies and a Master’s degree in Homeland Security from San Diego State University. He also studied Middle Eastern theology as a fellow at the Rabinowitz Institute in Jerusalem, Israel.
