Samantha (Sam) Wright is an engineer at In-Q-Tel, a strategic investor for U.S. national security agencies. As a member of the engineering team, Sam tests technology from In-Q-Tel’s portfolio companies, facilitates technology transfer between government customers and portfolio companies, and prototypes solutions. Prior to joining In-Q-Tel, Sam worked for GE Aviation where she completed the Edison Engineering Development Program and held a variety of roles, including military jet engine control system design and engine performance testing. She holds a Master of Science degree from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame, both in Mechanical Engineering.  A native of Pittsburgh, Sam currently lives in the greater DC area but can still be found rooting for the Pittsburgh Penguins in her spare time.
