Scott Barcus is a senior graduate student at the College of William & Mary, and he will be defending his PhD in experimental nuclear physics in March of 2019. Scott’s research focuses on electron scattering experiments using the electron accelerator at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility in Newport News, Virginia. Along with nuclear physics research, his interests include: science advocacy, nuclear security, and enhancing diversity in science.
