Elliott Phaup

Elliott Phaup is the Special Adviser of Legislative Affairs in the Office of the National Cyber Director.

Previously, Phaup served as a  Senior Advisor to Representative C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (MD-02). In this position he advises the Congressman on policy related to national security, cybersecurity, technology, telecommunications, and the intelligence community. Additionally, Elliott serves as advisor to the Congressman in his role as a Member of the House Appropriations Committee – Defense and Homeland Security Subcommittees.

Elliott received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Towson University and a master’s degree from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
