NSI CTC Tech Education, AI & Cybersecurity Hub (TEACH)
Created in 2024, the NSI CTC Tech Education, AI & Cybersecurity Hub (TEACH) offers a range of opportunities to George Mason students, as well as young adults from across the country, to learn about the evolving digital landscape and gain essential, practical skills enabling them to enter the field of skilled professionals and make a real-world impact on the American digital ecosystem.
One of TEACH’s core principles is connecting classroom to the workplace. By integrating classroom and clinical training, students are able to confront actual cyber challenges, build confidence in their abilities and reinforce the connection between theory and practice. All TEACH programs offer mentoring for students, as well as an emphasis on professional development. Participants in the below programs are also encouraged to participate in NSI’s Next Gen Alumni Network for ongoing career and employment-related opportunities.
NSI CTC TEACH is empowering a new generation of technology leaders, ready to defend the nation and our communities against an evolving landscape of digital threats. Learn more about how you can get involved below.
TEACH Cybersecurity Clinic
The TEACH Cybersecurity Clinic is a jointly developed and run multidisciplinary clinic between TEACH and the Howard University School of Business that educates and trains students from both universities on cybersecurity in a classroom and clinical setting. Students gain hands-on practical experience from faculty, lecturers, and mentors, enabling them to provide direct cybersecurity assistance to public critical infrastructure organizations and small businesses within the Washington metropolitan area – all of which are facing a barrage of cybersecurity threats without the resources to address these threats. TEACH Future Innovators Fellowship
The TEACH Future Innovators Fellowship hosts young adults from across the nation to learn about how cybersecurity and technology policy is made, impacts local communities, and drives innovation. TEACH will host Fellows for sessions in Washington, D.C., and connect them with leading technology and innovation subject matter experts and policymakers.
