Hannah Hanes serves as the Communications and Media Associate at the National Security Institute (NSI) at George Mason University. In this role, she manages NSI’s communications and press outreach with print, TV, and radio. Additionally, she supports the organization’s social media presence.

Previously, Hannah interned and served as a Communications Associate at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD).

Hannah, who is from Roanoke, Virginia, graduated from George Mason University with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Global Affairs. In her free time, she loves exploring new places with friends and performing with her DMV-based dance team.
