She has served as a leader and advisor to a range of organizations in both the private and public sectors, including the US Army, SpaceX, the White House, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Center for a New American Security (CNAS) and the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU).  Erringer began her career as a commissioned engineer officer in the US Army at Ft. Liberty, North Carolina.

She holds a BS and MSE in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy and Johns Hopkins.  Part-time, she serves as the Co-Founder and Chair of the Board for the Command Purpose Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports women veterans transitioning into the civilian world.  She also still serves as an Engineer Officer in the US Army Reserve with NGA, and enjoys providing yoga teaching to her community.
