Bob McAleer has three decades of national security experience across the globe and several disciplines.
He is President of Mission Secure, Inc., a cybersecurity company specializing in Operational Technology (OT)– the protection of Industrial Control Systems. He leads the Charlottesville, VA office which focuses on securing systems in the Government and Defense spaces, from critical infrastructure to combat systems.
Previously, Bob served as the Chief Operating Officer of Military Systems Group, which designs and manufactures weapons mounts for ground, maritime, and air systems. During his five years, Bob led the company into several new markets, growing revenue and employees four-fold.
Bob served 27 years in the Army, primarily as either a commander or operations officer of a warfighting unit, including top-tier special operations units, and has served nearly eleven years overseas. He also fulfilled key operations and planning roles on the Korean Peninsula during heightened tensions and kinetic activity with North Korea. Bob last served on the Army Staff, leading the U.S. Army’s Senate liaison efforts on Capitol Hill.
He studied economics at the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds three advanced degrees: an MBA and Masters in Operations Research from Georgia Tech, and a Masters in National Security Strategy and Resourcing from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
Bob also serves on the board of Airborne ECS, a Utah company that designs, manufactures, and tests thermal management systems for aerospace and ground systems.
Bob resides in Charlottesville, VA with his wife and two children.
