Byron previously served as Global Head of Resiliency Risk at JPMorgan Chase and was a Technology Fellow and Global Head of Cybersecurity and Information Risk in Operational Risk at Goldman Sachs for over 16 years. He has played a key role in shaping financial sector cybersecurity, serving on the board of the Financial Services Information Sharing & Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) for over 14 years, and serving as a member of the DHS Homeland Security Science and Technology Advisory Committee (HSSTAC). His expertise spans all aspects of cybersecurity, including program strategy, threat management, incident response, crisis management, industry collaboration, and the development of cyber and operational resiliency frameworks. He is a published author and a member of the Cyber & Technology Security Council of the National Security Institute of the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University.
