Collin Lee

Collin Lee leads strategy and business development for General Dynamics’s Space and Intelligence Systems business. He is obsessed with building infrastructure to support humans living and working in space. Collin’s primary responsibility is to work with defense, intelligence, and civil sector customers to anticipate their mission needs and deliver technologies ahead of the market. He uses that insight to make corporate investment and marketing recommendations to GD’s leadership team. 

For the five years prior to joining General Dynamics, Collin served as professional staff for the U.S. House of Representatives, Committee on Appropriations. He managed a $36 billion portfolio overseeing defense and intelligence space operations. Collin served in a similar capacity on the National Security Council developing policy and resourcing strategies for the President of the United States’ most sensitive defense, intelligence, and foreign policy issues. 

Collin served as an intelligence officer for seven years and ultimately as a Chief of Staff for the Director of National Intelligence. He began his career working for seven years as a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Booz Allen Hamilton where he helped the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community incorporate commercial best practices into operations. 

Collin earned a Master of Business degree from The Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University where he sits on the Political Science Department Alumni Board of Directors. Collin is Board Advisor to technology investment fund manager, The Singularity Group.
