Decrypted: Teaching Journalists to Talk Tech

National Press Club
September 11, October 10

Thanks to the generosity of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the National Security Institute is hosting a series of journalist trainings.  Each session will consist of an off-the-record policy briefing that will help attendees identify future pitches, as well as new angles on existing stories to take to your next pitch meeting and a networking session which will give attendees an opportunity to build a rolodex of expert sources for your next story.

The third event will feature:

  • Rep. Will Hurd (TX-23)
  • David Sanger, Chief Washington Correspondent and National Security Reporter, The New York Times
  • Bryson Bort, NSI Fellow; Founder & CEO, SCYTHE
  • Anne Marie Zettlemoyer, NSI Visiting Fellow; Cyber Strategist and Independent Researcher
