National Press Club
June 20
Thanks to the generosity of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the National Security Institute hosted a series of journalist trainings. Each session consisted of an off-the-record policy briefing that will help attendees identify future pitches, as well as new angles on existing stories to take to your next pitch meeting and a networking session which will give attendees an opportunity to build a rolodex of expert sources for your next story.
The first event featured:
Chris Krebs, Director of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency;
Dina Temple-Raston, Special Correspondent at NPR;
Kristen Hadjuk, NSI Visiting Fellow and Regional Director for the National Capital Region at the National Security Innovation Network; and
Jamil N. Jaffer, Founder and Executive Director, National Security Institute
