Mr. Sellers serves as Managing Director of Charter Holdings, Inc., a Dallas, TX based investment company with holdings in real estate, restaurants, and diversified financial investments.
Prior to joining Charter Holdings, Mr. Sellers served as Chief of Staff of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the United States government’s development finance institution. In this role, Mr. Sellers served as an adviser to the agency’s President and Chief Executive Officer, and provided guidance on strategy, operations, and policy matters. He also served as the chair of the agency’s resource management and enterprise risk committees. During his time at OPIC, Mr. Sellers played a key role in passage of the BUILD Act, legislation that will transform the agency into a new development finance agency with enhanced authorities and a $60 billion portfolio authorization.
Before his time at OPIC, Mr. Sellers served as Special Assistant to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in the White House, and as a legislative aide to U.S. Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee.
He holds a B.A. in History from Southern Methodist University and is a native of Montgomery, Alabama.
