Erik Peterson is a Senior Manager for Public Policy at CrowdStrike. In this role he leads congressional engagement efforts across Capitol Hill, engaging with members, staff, and committees on cyber policy issues.

Previously, Erik served as a Senior Professional Staff at the House Homeland Security Committee, Subcommittee on Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Protection during the 117th Congress. During this time, he served as an advisor to the ranking member on cybersecurity policy issues. Before this, Erik served as a Legislative Advisor at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), advising CISA leadership on legislative strategy and congressional relations on
cybersecurity and critical infrastructure policy issues.

Lastly, Erik worked at the consulting firm HWC, supporting a CISA, and served as a Professional Staff Member on the Committee on Homeland Security, Subcommittee on Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Protection from the 113th – 115th Congress.

Erik has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Texas Lutheran University.
