Paul S. Drury is a proven executive level leader with more than 33 years of national security and military intelligence experience. He is a recognized expert in foreign policy, strategic intelligence, operational planning, and the coordination with and integration of community-based military reserve forces. He has served in Special Operations, Information Operations, Psychological Operations, Legislative Liaison, and Counterintelligence. His duties have required him to work in many operational environments, including Haiti, the Balkans, Philippines, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
After retiring as a Colonel from the Army in 2018, Mr. Drury now leads business development and strategic partnership efforts for Credibility, LLC – an advanced artificial intelligence firm that evaluates the reliability of source material for the media, information, and financial business sectors. Paul’s unique training and experience provides significant insight into Credibility’s development of machine learning models that can identify manipulation techniques and errors present in journalism and social media.
Prior to joining Credibility, LLC, Mr. Drury held multiple senior positions supporting United States National Security. As the Director for Legislative Affairs for Defense and Intelligence operations at the White House for the National Security Council, he was recognized for his geo-political expertise in addressing issues with North Korea, China, and Russia. These issues included bi-lateral negotiations on a nation-state nuclear program, state-influence technology vendors, and incident attribution of cyber operations concerning the 2016 Presidential Election. Paul also led operational and planning efforts among multiple USG agencies in crisis response, science and technology initiatives, and declassification coordination.
Mr. Drury earned a Master of Science in Computer Resource Information Management from Webster University; a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Air Force War College; and Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University, with a focus on Adversarial Denial and Deception analysis and media manipulation methodologies and response. He was selected for and completed the Senior Manager Course in National Security Leadership at George Washington University. He received his commission from Georgia Military College and has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the State University of New York.
Paul is also a member of the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), the Association for Federal Information Resources Management (AFFIRM), the OSS Society, and is a recipient of the Knowlton Award which recognizes individuals who have contributed significantly to the promotion of Military Intelligence in ways that stand out in the eyes of the recipients, their superiors, subordinates, and peers.
