Geof Kahn is a Senior Counselor at Palantir where he helps lead key parts of their intelligence and national security business. Geof has extensive leadership experience spanning intelligence, technology, cybersecurity and government relations fields.
Most recently, Geof led Accenture’s North America Government Relations function where he led a wide range of c-suite positioning and risk management activities. He also led cybersecurity policy and technology policy in previous roles at Accenture. In his government service, Geof served on the Presidential Transition Team, assisting Rep. Mike Pompeo in his nomination/confirmation as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and served as a senior advisor to CIA Director Pompeo and Chief Operating Officer Brian Bulatao. Prior to that Geof served as the Policy Director and CIA Program Monitor for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI).
Geof began his career at the Office of Naval Intelligence as a collection advocate working on China and Iran and then transitioned to CIA where he did similar work on other Middle East and South Asian countries. Before leaving CIA for HPSCI, Geof served as a senior policy officer at the Agency, negotiating for CIA equities in intelligence community and executive branch policies.
Geof was born and raised in the suburbs of New York City, received his bachelor’s degree in Peace, War, and Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Masters Degree in Security Policy Studies from the George Washington University.
