Hayden Stone

Hayden Stone served as Senior Director for Strategic Initiatives at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), America’s development bank. In this role, Hayden focused on implementation of the BUILD Act of 2018 and operationalizing DFC’s mandate to advance U.S. foreign policy and national security interests through strategic development investments overseas.

Prior to his work at DFC, Hayden served as a Senior Advisor managing foreign assistance programs at the U.S. Department of State, Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy, and in various roles with U.S. state, Congressional, and Presidential campaigns. He is currently Principal at Southwest Impact, a strategic advisory firm.

Originally from Colorado, Hayden has an A.B. in History and Economics from Harvard University, with studies in Strategy at the U.S. Naval War College and in Business and International Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
