Colonel J. Carlos Vega currently serves as an Executive Security Advisor at IBM and is a cybersecurity leader with over two decades of security experience. Colonel Vega has demonstrated capability leading large and small-scale organizations to achieve difficult IT, security and operational objectives, in high stress environments characterized by demanding standards and intense operational schedules. Cohesive team building and demeanor, exacting standards, strategic planning, intense dedication and tremendous intellectual ability are his hallmarks.  He is a founding member of the Army Cyber Institute at West Point and the Army’s newest career field “Cyber” operator.
