Jessie joined the National Security Institute as a Policy Program Coordinator in March of 2020. Previously, she worked on peace, security and democratic resilience issues at the National Democratic Institute and as a coordinator for the Syria Reader project at the Middle East Studies Center. She graduated from the American University in Cairo with a master’s degree in Middle East Studies. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the area’s hiking and biking trails.
