Larry is a seasoned national security and white-collar criminal defense attorney who most recently served as Senior Counsel and Global Head of Economic Sanctions Screening & Investigations at Google. Prior to Google, he was Of Counsel in Wilson Sonsini’s Washington, D.C. office within the White Collar Crime, Investigations, and National Security practice.
Across nearly two decades, Larry has led sensitive national security and white-collar criminal investigations and defended Fortune 500 companies and executives before the DOJ, SEC, and the Departments of the Treasury, Commerce, and State. His practice also included advising boards and legal departments on anti-corruption, money laundering, and national security-related issues, including designing defensible compliance programs, and conducting due diligence for hundreds of corporate transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, financings, and IPOs.
Larry received an LL.M. with a concentration in Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas. He previously earned a Juris Doctor from William & Mary School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Florida. Born in Hawaii and having deep ties to Florida, Larry spends his time surfing, hiking, and traveling, and he recently completed the Honolulu Triathlon.
