Maggie Sprenger is the co-founder and General Partner of Green Cow Venture Capital, an early stage venture firm. Existing funds invest into the intersection of deep tech (AI/ML, robotics, computational data) and foundational industries. Maggie is currently building a network of trusted capital and deep tech applications within the national defense space. In her capacity as a venture capitalist, Maggie regularly works with SMEs in emerging economies to impact borderless problems, including inequality, terrorism, and climate change.
Maggie is a Kauffman Fellow. She is also a mentor at NYU Stern’s Endless Frontier Labs, where she works with startups in the deep tech cohort over a nine-month long program. Previously she completed a Fellowship with the Observer Research Foundation, based in New Delhi.
Before her work at GCVC, Maggie was the founder and Managing Director of Cosgrove Capital, a real estate investment firm. She continues to advise companies in the space.
She serves on the Board of Directors of the Afghanistan World Foundation, and the Alumni Admissions Committee of the University of Pennsylvania.
Maggie holds a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Political Science and Environmental Studies, and an MBA from Wharton. Her grad school work includes studying Sharia Law in the UAE and an independent study in Islamabad and Lahore, Pakistan, examining the impact of China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
