Mark Brown is a currently a Principal Member of Technical Staff in AT&T’s Chief Security Office, where he focuses on network security policy, cloud network security, and security aspects of Internet legal and regulatory issues.  He has over 15 years’ experience in network security, is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and is Certified in Cloud Security Knowledge.  Mark previously worked as a software developer, software architect, and telecommunications systems engineer for Bell Laboratories and other companies.  He holds a B.A. in Computer Science (with distinction) from Indiana University, an M.S. in Computer, Information, and Control Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a J.D. (honors) from the Rutgers University School of Law. He is a member of the New York and patent bars, Phi Beta Kappa, Tau Beta Pi, and the Order of the Coif.
