Max Freeman is a security-focused technologist who is joining the National Security Institute (NSI) in 2019 as a Technologist Fellow. Mr. Freeman brings years of experience in cyber security, information technology, and computer science to NSI. Throughout his career across the federal government, Mr. Freeman has worked to solve complex technical problems and national security issues by applying his background in technology and security. Mr. Freeman received a Computer Science degree from George Mason University and currently studies at Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. He also serves as the Associate Editor for Technology and Cyber Security at the Georgetown Security Studies Review.
