Megan Ammirati is a China Analyst focusing on the military activities of the People’s Republic of China at TextOre, Inc. She is also affiliated with the Pacific Forum’s Young Leaders Program. Her work has appeared in publications including Modern Chinese Literature and Culture, Asian Theatre Journal, and The China Journal. She worked at Nanjing University first as a Fulbright grantee and then as a visiting researcher and translator at the Institute for Advanced Studies. Megan has served as an Associate Instructor in the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of California, Davis and a Mandarin Instructor at the Ohio State University. She holds a Ph.D. from UC Davis and a BA from the College of William & Mary.
