Oliver Wai is Vice President of Product Marketing at IronNet Cybersecurity. He has had a distinguished career spanning 15+ years working at a number of top Silicon Valley companies. At IronNet, Oliver leads corporate marketing, product marketing, market intelligence, press and analyst relations, and other marketing functions for the company. Prior to IronNet, Oliver was the Head of Product Marketing for cybersecurity services at Deloitte Advisory where he helped launch a number of high growth cyber analytics services for the firm. Before Deloitte, Oliver was the Director of Product Marketing at FireEye and was responsible for the integration of Mandiant’s product portfolio after FireEye $1B acquisition in 2014. Previous to FireEye, Oliver was a key member at Barracuda Networks during its rapid growth phase and worked in a number of product management and product strategy functions for Barracuda’s security portfolio that contributed to the company’s $1B+ IPO in 2013. He also led Barracuda’s post-IPO transition of their security portfolio to the public cloud as an early adopter of Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services that resulted in a 60% increase of the company’s market capitalization on announcement to the investor community. Prior to Barracuda Networks, Oliver worked in a number of engineering and technical roles at Google working on their autonomous car project (now-Waymo) and at Brocade Communications (acquired by Broadcom) helping develop software for the company’s core Fiber Channel Storage Area Network switches. Oliver holds a bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University and a master’s degree from Stanford University.
