Thomas Hastings is a lead member of technical staff at the MITRE Corporation, an Air Force reservist assigned to the United States Air Force Academy, and a PhD student at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. His primary research interest is in protecting the software supply chain, specifically through open source community health metrics and defending communities against source poisoning. He holds a master degree in software engineering from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and a bachelor degree in information systems management from Colorado Christian University.
