Thomas Zakrzewski

Thomas Zakrzewski (Tom Z.) is a Distinguished Engineer and Blockchain Lead at S&P Global Ratings. In his current role, Tom is working on blockchain technologies, including products involving encryption and cybersecurity. He co-authored a blockchain patent for a solution addressing issues with data privacy, data localization, and preparedness for post quantum ciphers. Tom has over 25 years of IT experience in Financials, Software Engineering, Telecom, e-Commerce, Distribution & Logistics, and Healthcare. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Montclair State University, and is completing a Master Degree program in Predictive Analytics at Northwestern University. Throughout his career, he held numerous positions ranging from developer, to architect, to CIO. Currently he serves on the Advisory Board for the New Jersey Institution of Technology (NJIT), Montclair State University, and the Big Data Certification Program at Rutgers University. Tom is a frequent speaker at internal and external conferences discussing blockchain technologies, cryptoassets, and predictive models.
