Vishal “VJ” Amin is the founder of the Spades Institute, a National Security Institute dedicated to advancing Democracy, Freedom and Ethics. At Microsoft, Vishal serves as a Security and National Security leader amongst some of the most critical business’ within Microsoft globally. Leveraging leading-edge cloud and AI technologies to solve the most complex and impactful cybersecurity challenges within National Security, Vishal is responsible for over $3.2B in security revenue within Microsoft.

As a Presidential Scholar and a graduate of the Stand-To Leadership Program at the George W. Bush Presidential Center, Vishal is committed to the investment of positive influence across the country to include serving our veteran and service-based communities. His leadership philosophy aligns with the philosophy of just doing “the next right thing…” and “if not me, then who”, inspired by a fellow Marine, who in his life, sacrificed through his own actions for the betterment of others.

Vishal has a Master of Business for Veterans from University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from California State Polytechnic University. Vishal is based in Carlsbad, California.
